Windows 8 to have 3D desktop?

Reports have surfaced that the next version of Windows will use an entirely new desktop interface. Code named'Wind', the new UI uses 3D visual effects and will require at least a discrete graphics processor, a 64-bit CPU, and around 170 MB of RAM.
